Recent work

A Cabot Backyard, Cleared in December

Both of these were shot on December 21, start and finish of the same job. That date matters: by late December most yards look bare, but under oaks the leaves are still coming down. This is what a full season of leaf pack looks like when it has been left to sit, and what the same yard looks like when we are done with it.

December 21, morning. Leaf pack across the full yard, working into the beds and along the fence line.

Same day, end of the job. Leaves cleared and hauled off, fence line and fire pit back in view.

What we do

What a Cabot Fall Cleanup Includes

Every property drops a different amount of leaf litter, so we quote based on what is actually on the ground. Most Cabot fall cleanups are built from some mix of the following.

Leaf removal and hauling

Leaves cleared from lawn, beds, fence lines, and around foundations, then hauled off site. No bags left at the curb unless you want them there.

Gutter clean-outs

Gutters and downspouts cleared of leaf pack and debris so water moves off the roof instead of over the edge.

Landscape bed cleanup

Beds cleared of fallen leaves and spent growth, edges re-cut, and mulch refreshed if the bed needs it.

Hedge and shrub trimming

Shrubs and hedges shaped before dormancy so the front of the house looks intentional through winter.

Final mow of the season

A last cut once growth stops, which keeps matted grass from sitting under wet leaves all winter.

Ditch and culvert clean-out

Roadside ditches and culvert pipes cleared of leaves and washed-in debris so runoff has somewhere to go.

Timing

When to Schedule a Cleanup in Central Arkansas

Leaf drop around Cabot is not one event. It runs in waves from early fall into winter, and the trees on your lot decide which wave matters most. Here is roughly how the season moves.

Early – mid October
First drop. Sweetgum, hickory, and maple start letting go. Light volume. Good time to book, before the calendar fills.
Late October – November
Heaviest volume. Most hardwoods drop together. This is when a single cleanup makes the biggest visible difference, and when we are busiest.
December
The oak problem. Oaks hold their leaves long after everything else is bare, and some hang on past the new year. If your lot is oak-heavy, one October cleanup will not finish the job. The before-and-after above was shot on December 21.
January – February
Final pass. A last clean-up clears whatever came down over winter and gets beds ready before spring growth starts.

How it works

One Cleanup or the Whole Season

Some properties need one good pass in November and nothing else. Others, especially older Cabot lots with mature oaks, need two or three visits to actually stay clear.

We will tell you which one your property needs when we look at it. If one visit will do it, we will say so rather than sell you a package you do not need.

What affects the price

  • Lot size and how much of it is under tree canopy
  • How many trees, and what kind
  • Whether leaves are dry or packed down wet
  • How long it has been since the last cleanup
  • Whether gutters, ditches, or beds are included
  • Access for equipment and hauling

Estimates are free and based on the property, not a phone guess.

Common questions

Cabot Fall Cleanup FAQs

When should I book my fall cleanup in Cabot?

Booking in September or early October gets you the best choice of dates. The calendar tightens through November, which is when most people call. If your lot is oak-heavy, plan on a December or January visit as well.

Do you haul the leaves away?

Yes. Leaves are loaded and hauled off site as part of the cleanup. If you would rather keep them for compost or have them left in a specific spot, tell us and we will work around it.

Can you clean gutters at the same time?

Yes, and it usually makes sense to do both in one visit. Clearing the yard while packed gutters overflow onto the beds below undoes half the work.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not, as long as we have access to the work area and the details are confirmed ahead of time. We will let you know when we are scheduled and when the work is done.

How much does a fall cleanup cost?

It depends on lot size, tree cover, and how much has already come down. We give free estimates based on the actual property rather than quoting blind over the phone.

Do you take one-time jobs, or only regular customers?

One-time fall cleanups are welcome. You do not need to be on a mowing route to book one.
